This Privacy Policy describes how Inservio Pty Limited (Australia), ABN 18 270 661 389 (variously described as Inservio, us, we or our throughout this Policy), manages your Personal Information.

Inservio acknowledges that your privacy and the safeguarding of your Personal Information is important to you. We are committed to protecting the Personal Information that you entrust to us and to managing your Personal Information in a secure, open and transparent way.

Inservio is bound by the privacy provisions under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act) in how we manage your Personal Information. This Policy sets out how Inservio ensures that the Personal Information we collect and hold is done so in accordance with our privacy obligations under the Privacy Act.

What Personal Information does Inservio collect and hold?

As a business, Inservio’s focus is on delivering innovative pharmaceutical products and services to Patients and Healthcare Professionals. To this end, Inservio collects and holds a variety of Personal Information to provide a range of both business and complementary service offerings as effectively as possible through our interactions with you.

​The Personal Information that we collect and hold about you varies, depending on our interaction we have with you.

We take reasonable steps to ensure that we only collect Personal Information from you or about you that is reasonably necessary for us to fulfill our product and service offerings and obligations to you, to process, record and manage our interactions with you, as necessary for business record keeping purposes or as required or authorised by law.

The Personal Information that we collect and hold about you is described in the following interactions, and may include (but is not limited to):

Patients

  • Name

  • Contact details such as address, delivery address, telephone number and email address

  • Date of birth

  • Government related identifiers, such as Medicare details or concession card details

  • Health Information, such as your medical condition, medication and indication

  • Healthcare Provider, including their name, title, practice and practice contact details

  • Bank account details where required for payments

  • Preferences regarding Inservio’s interactions with you, including patient support programs

  • Information we are required to collect for adverse event reporting purposes

  • Information we collect when you make a general enquiry or complaint

  • In some instances, where you choose to use a Carer to represent you, your Carer’s information, such as their name, contact details and relationship to you.

  • Name

  • Job title

  • Contact details about the practice, including address, website, telephone number and email address

  • For Healthcare Professionals, professional details including speciality

We also collect and hold Personal Information related to:

  • Our staff, both past and present

  • Job seekers

  • Representatives of our Partners and Related Entities, Third Parties, Service Providers and Contractors.

How does Inservio collect your Information?

 We may collect and hold Personal Information from you or about you via the following means:

·     When you use one of our products or services, either as a Patient, a Carer, a Healthcare Professional or a Practice Staff Member.

·     When you participate in an Inservio sponsored activity, including clinical trials, patient support programs, observational research, questionnaires, surveys, education programs and disease state awareness or management programs.

·     When you contact us to ask a question, make a complaint or seek information about one of our products or service offerings.

·     When you apply for a job at Inservio.

·     From publicly available sources (where necessary).

·     From third-party sources where the third party is authorised to share your information with us or you have consented to the disclosure.

·     When you provide us with Personal Information related to others, such as when you provide the names and contact details of a Carer or Practice Staff. When you provide us with Personal Information related to others, we ask that you have their prior consent to do so, that you tell them you are sharing their Personal Information with us, and direct them to this Policy if requested.


For what purposes does Inservio collect, hold, use and disclose Personal Information?

Inservio collects, holds, uses and discloses Personal Information for the following purposes:

  • To fulfil our product and service offerings to you

  • To deliver products, including medication, to you

  • To install hardware and technology, and to remotely monitor medication stock at a Healthcare Practice

  • To process fees payable, or expense reimbursable, by Inservio to you

  • To manage patient support programs

  • To invite you to attend educational events and conferences

  • To provide you with educational materials that you have requested

  • To participate in an Inservio sponsored program including but not limited to education programs, recording Continual Professional Development (CPD) points, disease management programs, research grants, clinical trials, observational research, expert panels, contracting and audits.

  • To seek your feedback, including to invite you to participate in an Inservio survey

  • To communicate with you as reasonably expected by you

  • To respond to an enquiry you make, or to deal with a complaint made

  • For adverse event reporting purposes

  • For recruitment purposes

  • In dealing with individuals (including Job Seekers and Representatives of our Partners and Related Entities, Third Parties, Service Providers and Contractors of Inservio) as part of the day to day running of Inservio

  • To communicate with you as a Job seeker, or Representative of our Partners and Related Entities, Third Parties, Service Providers and Contractors of Inservio

  • As part of an investigation following an incident

  • To maintain and improve our products and services, and for quality assurance and staff training purposes

  • To facilitate our business operations

  • To comply with legislative and regulatory obligations

  • As required, permitted or authorised by law

  • Any other purpose communicated to you at the time your Personal Information was collected


Receiving educational material

Inservio may use your Personal Information to contact you (by telephone, text message or email) in relation to an Inservio product or service we think may be of interest to you. The type of communication will be educational material specifically linked to your condition or medication.

You can opt-out of receiving educational material from Inservio at any time, by contacting our Privacy Officer using the contact details provided below.


Do you have to provide your Personal Information to Inservio?

You may interact with us anonymously or via a pseudonym where it is lawful and practicable to do so. However, some of our products or services require you to provide us with your Personal Information. There are also aspects of our business that by law require us to collect Personal Information about you, so we can fulfill your request. In these situations, if you choose to withhold your Personal Information, it may not be possible for Inservio to fulfil your request.


Disclosure of your Personal Information

Inservio shares your Personal Information with our Partners and Related Entities, Third Parties, Service Providers and Contractors of Inservio (collectively called Parties). We outsource some of our service offerings to our Parties. Our Parties are restricted from using your Personal Information in any way other than to provide services on our behalf, or services for a collaboration in which they and Inservio are engaged. We limit the Personal Information we share with Parties to only that which is reasonably necessary for them to fulfil their obligations to us. Where Inservio engages a Party, we ensure that they will protect your Personal Information to at least the same standard as set out in this Policy.

​Inservio may provide your Personal Information to a Party in connection with the sale, assignment, or other transfer of the business of Inservio to which the information relates, in which case Inservio will require any such buyer to agree to manage your Personal Information in accordance with this Policy.

Inservio takes reasonable steps to keep secure your Personal Information to protect it from misuse, interference or loss, and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. We use reasonable organisational, technical and administrative measures and safeguards to protect the Personal Information that we hold. Our security controls are continuously reviewed and revised based on new technological developments and security advancements. Access to Personal Information by Inservio staff is provisioned in accordance with our strict access controls. Inservio stores your Personal Information securely.

Personal Information is kept for the requisite number of years to comply with legal requirements. Any Personal Information that we no longer need is securely disposed of after retention periods are met.


Your right to access and correct Personal Information

You have a right to seek access to or correction of the Personal Information that we hold about you. You can exercise this right by contacting our Privacy Officer using the contact details provided below. To protect your privacy, we may ask you to verify your identity as part of fulfilling your access or correction request. We will not charge you for making an access or correction request. We may ask you to pay a reasonable fee for the work involved in providing you access to your Personal Information. You will be notified of any costs before your access request is fulfilled.


Visitors to the Inservio Website

The Inservio website is hosted by Squarespace.  

When you visit our website, we use Squarespace Analytics and Google Analytics to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to our Web pages. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify you.
