Extensive Experience
Inservio pioneered the concept of delivering patents' medications directly to ophthalmology clinics in advance of patient appointments in 2007.
Since then, we have substantially grown our fleet of cold-chain delivery vehicles, remotely monitored patient medication fridges located in clinics and other resources to support our growing patient base.

Since developing the first online portal for applying for PBS script approvals, Inservio has worked closely with the department of Health to expedite PBS approval timelines. Recent development of a smartphone application based solution effectively sends approval requests through to the PBS. These are then electronically verified with all the required details. This app has revolutionised the way prescriptions can be approved on the PBS.

Cold-Chain Med Delivery
Inservio liaises with the patient's medical team to confirm their next appointment. Inservio requests supply from a pharmacy on behalf of the patient. Inservio then delivers the dispensed medication to the clinic, maintaining the cold-chain distribution in a validated and continuously monitored refrigerated vehicle. Inservio Clinic Inventory Managers then place the medication in our online temperature monitored clinical refrigerators for easy access at the scheduled appointment.
Real Time Responsiveness
Utilising patented technology, our RFID fridges read the movement of medications into and out of fridges as well as continuously monitoring temperature conditions. The data, only readable by Inservio, allows us to analyse and respond to changing demand in real-time. Furthermore, patients can be confident that their medication is monitored at all times when in the fridge and when removed from the fridge. Inservio has the unique ability to record medication batch numbers as part of the RFID system to readily identify medication subject to a possible recall or quarantine situation.
